IMG_3793If you like dark, brooding stories set in bleak English countryside, Andrew Michael Hurley’s second novel is one for the winter-reading list. AMH has managed to do what many writers struggle with, ie produce a follow-up to a critically acclaimed bestseller – Devil’s Day is just as spooky, tense and elegiac as fans of The Loney would expect.
